Mt. Lemon - a Valley

Mt Lemon reaches 8000 ft. Snow, skiing in the winter.
There was a huge fire several years ago that destroyed most of the community and thousand year old evergreens.
The burned down trees open up the view but leave the rocky nature of the desert screaming loud and clear. I went up late and the sun wasn't in my favor and it was dark by the time I reached the top.
This is the first time I drove up in Autumn and didn't see any color, (no trees). I got some great rock formations though and so I will be switching from flowers (shush, Stamatis) to rocks.
Some amazing rock formations at that!
Be prepared for lots of burned up trees in the landscape!
